‘You Can’t Stop Sisters’- Serena Williams’ Most Watched Video in 2020

The Williams sisters have redefined tennis to a level never imagined before them. America’s Venus Williams and Serena Williams dominated the sport in singles’ and doubles’ both.

Former World No. 1’s in doubles have won 22 titles including 14 Grand Slams, and 3 Olympic Gold medals together. Nike’s video highlighting how the sisters changed the tennis world is Serena’s most-watched video in 2020.

The on-court rivalry between the sisters has produced some of the greatest tennis matches ever.  They have met each other 31 times over their career where Serena holds the advantage 19-12. Additionally, the pair has a record of facing each other in 4 consecutive Grand Slam finals; Serena won them all.

However, the American sisters made it to the top of the tennis world and are each other’s inspiration even today. The duo has spent 327 weeks as World No. 1 combined. The video titled ‘You Can’t Stop Sisters’ talks about their journey in tennis together.

The 23 times Grand Slam champion voiced the emotional video. Serena narrated, “Ever since we were little girls, you’ve compared us to each other.

“My game versus her game, my ranking versus her ranking, my titles versus her titles, my Grand Slams versus her Grand Slams. It’s funny! You saw two tennis players trying to win a game, we saw two sisters changing it.”

Their last Grand Slam title came at the 2016 Wimbledon Championships; the duo has never lost a doubles final match. While Serena aims to equal Margaret Court’s record of the highest number of major titles, Venus will play for her 50th career title. As far as training goes, the sisters do not train with each other anymore.

Hence, it is great news for tennis fans to see the Williams sisters contribute to the sport. Although it would have been incredible to watch them roar as a doubles team again.
