The champions Los Angeles Lakers won their 20th game of the regular season with a second successive win over the OKC Thunder. They are still the 2nd seed in the Western Conference, with a record of 20 wins and 6 losses.

The Memphis Grizzlies snapped off of their 4-game losing streak as they defeated the in-form Charlotte Hornets. Despite their disappointing form, they are the 9th seed in the Western Conference with a record of 10 wins and 10 losses.

The Lakers face off against the Grizzlies tonight at 10 PM EST. Take a look at the probable lineups and the predictions ahead of the game.

Los Angeles Lakers- Injury updates and lineup prediction

The Lakers won their 6th game in a row as they beat the OKC Thunder in overtime with a 114-113 victory. This was their 3rd game in a row which went to overtime for the first time since 1991.

However, they might have some injury concerns for their upcoming game. Jared Dudley and Kostas Antetokounmpo are bound to the bench with calf and knee injuries, respectively.

Superstar Anthony Davis is questionable as he is recovering from a knee injury, while guard Alex Caruso is sidelined with a hand injury. Talisman LeBron James is also questionable as he recovers from an ankle injury.

The Lakers have won their last 2 games without key players like Anthony Davis and Alex Caruso. With Davis out, the pressure has piled on LeBron James. If AD is fit against the Grizzlies, it might be a good opportunity to give some rest to LBJ.

Memphis Grizzlies injury updates and predicted lineup

The Grizzlies who were on a tear in January are seeing some dreadful form this month losing 4 of the 6 games they have played so far. After a 4-game losing streak, the Grizzlies finally had a win as they beat the Hornets 130-114 in their last game.

As of now, the Grizzlies are dealing with several injury issues prior to their game against the champions. Brandon Clarke, Jaren Jackson Jr., Sean McDermott, De’Anthony Melton, Killian Tillie, Xavier Tillman, and Justice Winslow are all listed out of the lineup against the Lakers.

The Grizzlies will face the Lakers who are coming off of a 6-game winning streak. It will be a big challenge for them to defeat the in-form Lakers.

Probable Lineup

Ja Morant (G)

Grayson Allen (G)

Dillon Brooks (F)

Kyle Anderson (F)

Jonas Valanciunas (C)

Predictions

The Lakers are in a 6-game winning streak but might be fatigued given their last three games went to overtime. But given the dwindling form of the Grizzlies, the Lakers should be able to see out this game and extend their winning streak to seven games.
