The Nets face the Lakers tonight at 10 PM EST. Take a look at the probable lineups and the predictions ahead of the game.
Los Angeles Lakers- Injury updates and lineup prediction
The Lakers, who suffered from a crushing loss to the Nuggets, won their latest game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, defeating them 112-104.
Despite the absence of superstar Anthony Davis, the team put on an all-round performance against the Wolves. Their new signings, Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell, provided the offensive support LeBron James needed.
However, they might have some injury concerns for their upcoming game. Kostas Antetokounmpo is out with a knee injury. Superstar Anthony Davis is also sidelined as he recovers from an Achilles’ tendonosis injury.
The Lakers now face an offensive juggernaut in the Brooklyn Nets who will be without a key player in Kevin Durant.

Brooklyn Nets- Injury update and lineup prediction
The Brooklyn Nets defeated a strong Phoenix Suns side, 128-124. Even though they were playing without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, their new signing James Harden stepped up. Against the Suns, he scored 38 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds.
Apart from him, multiple bench players also chipped in for the Nets. Forward Joe Harris scored 22 points, Jeff Green scored 18 points and even guard scored 17 points. This all-round offensive display without Durant and Irving was an encouraging sign for coach Steve Nash.
They have some major injury concerns, as their guard Spencer Dinwiddie is out for the season with a partial ACL tear. Forward Nicholas Claxton is out with a knee injury, and guard Iman Shumpert is out due to a hamstring injury.
Superstar Kevin Durant is out at least for two games with a mild hamstring strain. Even Kyrie Irving is probable as he recovers from a back injury and forward Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot is questionable with a knee injury.
The Nets were lethal in the offensive end against the Suns. This time they are facing one of the best defensive teams in Lakers and might be in for a close match.

The Nets will be missing a key player in Kevin Durant, while the Lakers will also be missing a defensive piece in Anthony Davis. It will all come down to how players like Schroder and Harris perform in the game.
We are in for a close game between the champions and arguably their biggest challengers in Nets. Given the all round talent the Lakers have, they have a slight edge over the Nets in this matchup.
