Who are Cognizant, the New Title Sponsors of Aston Martin F1 Team

Aston Martin is making a comeback on to the Formula 1 tracks after being away for close to 6 decades. This comes in the form of a rebranding of the Racing Point F1 team owned by Lawrence Stroll. As a result, the team also found a new title sponsor in Cognizant.

Lawrence Stroll, the owner of the team, calls the return of Aston Martin a landmark moment in the history of the sport in an official press release made by Cognizant.

“The return of Aston Martin to Formula One after more than 60 years away is a landmark moment in the history of the sport…. I’m hugely proud that we can start this new chapter with the support of Cognizant.

“In today’s world, as the digital revolution continues, I can’t think of a more suitable or valuable partner to work with us as we strive to make Aston Martin one of the greatest teams in the sport.”

Cognizant Technology Solutions

Cognizant is a Fortune 500 company based out of Teaneck, New Jersey, USA. They specialize in providing digital services and IT consulting and services. They cater to the IT requirements of big businesses and currently rank 194th on the Fortune 500 list.

The company deals in several fields ranging from Data Warehousing to Artificial Intelligence to Customer Relationship Management and Supply Chain Management.

With headquarters in 38 different countries, Cognizant are able to have a global impact and increases their capability. As a result, the company is estimated to have an employee base of about 280,00.

A fruitful partnership

In the same press release, CEO of Cognizant, Brian Humphries, had this to say, “We are absolutely thrilled to be the title partner of Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team.

“Our global brands have much in common. We are both innovative, forward-looking firms that like to move fast, stay focused, and lead from the front.”

Otmar Szafnauer, the team CEO and Principal hopes this long-term partnership will produce great results. The Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team will compete in the 2021 Formula 1 season with Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel as their drivers.

Fans look forward to Vettel regaining his form. As a result of this new partnership, fans can hope for better days ahead?
