Mclaren drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris were asked to make a theme song for the team, ahead of the 2021 Formula One season. The duo was sent to a music studio to make some beats for the Woking-based team.
Ricciardo and Lando may have talent behind the wheel, they were tasked for creating an anthem for their team. However, they might need some help in that department.
They were guided by award-winning music producer Matthew Lawrence from British Groove Studios that helped them get into the rhythm of making music.
Mclaren’s future in Music?
In the Mclaren video, Making Melodies, as a team-building exercise the duo was asked to try their hand in music to help create a theme song for the team as they look to set their eyes on the grid for the upcoming 2021 Formula One season.
Both drivers were asked to listen to some beats in order to get a better understanding of what their music tastes like. Once they found it, both headed into a recording booth to their vocals before they start singing and making the anthem.
Lando and Daniel did certainly enjoy themselves while they were at British Grove Studio, coming up with raps, playing the guitar and drums. Both of them got creative as they made the anthem to their team’s 2021 season. Lando said that even bought himself a drum set after having been to the studio.
The anthem awaits in Bahrain
The opening race will be in Bahrain on the 28th of March. The world would await, as Mclaren will play their much-awaited anthem to boost the morale of their team for the upcoming Formula One season.
The fans don’t have to wait too much longer as the start of the season is just a few weeks away. In short, they will see their favorite driver’s not in a music studio. Instead behind the wheel, fighting for points as they battle it out on the track.
