Nothing is ever just normal when the World No. 1 tennis player is in the frame. Recently, Novak Djokovic shared a video of him having fun in the snow, which he quickly transformed into a training session.
Unquestionably, the Serbian ace is the fittest of all the tennis players today. He follows a strict plant-based diet and does not consume any dairy products.
As a result, the 33-year-old can frog jump and sprint flawlessly even in the snow. However, the video shows that Novak and his wife Jelena are both making the most of their family time.
Novak Djokovic turns snow into his training ground
2020 had been a tough year for everyone. But as the world stayed at home, families found time for each other like never before.
Novak too, who had an incredible year of tennis, revivified himself with his family in Serbia. He is all set to welcome the New Year with the most important part of his life – his family.
From running around carrying his wife to challenging her, Djokovic did it all in the snow. Take a look at how he also turned his holidays into preparations for the next season.
Despite all his achievements, the Serbian got caught up in many difficult moments in the past year. Fortunately, he has overcome all of that and will aim to break more records in 2021.
Djokovic will start his season at the ATP Cup 2021
The 17-time Grand Slam champion will defend his Australian Open title from February 8. But before that, he will play for Serbia at the second edition of the ATP Cup.
Earlier this year, Djokovic defeated Spain’s Rafael Nadal in the finals to win the first edition of the ATP Cup. Number 26 in the world, Dusan Lajovic will join him in the tournament.
So it can be said that the start to his season is planned out great as Melbourne Park has brought him his most glory. Novak is the record-holder when it comes to winning the Australian Open and has eight victories there to his credit.
Hopefully, the snow drill and the holidays will prepare him for the challenges of next year. Needless to say, Djokovic will be ready when time is here.
