This year, Halloween was a lot different due to the coronavirus pandemic. People couldn’t go from house to house asking for treats which was definitely disappointing. However, the Halloween spirit was still alive as many WTA stars like Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka dressed up as their favorite characters.

As you can see, Gauff dressed up as Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender. In the video, you can see her doing some kart wheels and narrating some of the dialogues of the show. She has definitely become one with the character!
2020 US Open Champion Naomi Osaka joined Gauff in dressing up for Halloween as she decided to dress up as Numbuh 5 from Codename: Kids Next Door. She tried to recreate her character’s signature entrance and many would say that she succeeded!
Naomi Osaka Targeting Australian Open 2021
Osaka would have had a lot of fun dressing up for Halloween. However, she will be getting back to training very soon as she prepares for the 2021 Australian Open.
The Japanese star had an amazing 2020 which saw her win her 2nd US Open title. It was the 3rd Grand Slam of her career and now she will be looking to win her 4th in Melbourne.
If Naomi wins the title there, it would help her a lot in regaining the World No. 1 ranking. She definitely wants to achieve that and let’s hope that she can do that when she plays the event which begins on 18th January.
