WATCH: Celtics’ Big Man Tacko Fall Denies Russell Westbrook at the Rim

Russell Westbrook and the Washington Wizards headed to Boston for their matchup against the Celtics. But till halftime, the Celtics have truly dominated the visitors and are looking on path to get their 7th win of the season.

The Celtics are severely shorthanded in this game, due to 3 of their players being sidelined due to contacting with COVID-19. As a result, the team was forced to put Tacko Fall on the floor. Fall is using this opportunity to the fullest as he showed his skills in the first half of the game.

In a play during the first quarter, Westbrook tried to shift momentum towards his side by knocking down a slam dunk. But Russ was met at the rim by Celtics’ towering center as he swatted away the shot.

The former MVP is known for his flashy in-game dunks, but even for him dunking on Fall is a herculean task. Furthermore, since he has joined the Wizards, Russ is still looking to find his touch. Russ is getting his numbers, but he has been quite inefficient on the floor.

Following Westbrook’s missed dunk attempt on Tacko, NBA fans were quick to react on Twitter.

Apart from this phenomenal block on Westbrook, Tacko is getting the job done on both ends of the floor. Although it’s a good news for the Celtics fans, Washington fans must be fuming.

Additionally, the Wizards have not had a good start to the season. As of now they are just 2-6 this season and the way the Celtics are playing, the Wizards might lose this fixture as well.

At the end of two quarters, the Celtics lead the game by 19 points. Their star duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are getting the job done for the team. Can Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook make a stunning comeback in the second half? Let us know your views in the comments section down below.
