“It’s special as sometimes I need to remind myself that I am the tigress and I need to fight till the end. I just put it on my arm to make sure I can see it every time and be on fire,” said Sabalenka.
Sabalenka enjoyed a laugh throughout the conversation. She even showed her half-fisted hand at the end, trying to shape it into the claw of a tigress.
Aryna Sabalenka is definitely a fighter. The 22-year-old Belarusian player often seems ruthless and aggressive on the field and her personality on the court truly resembles her tattoo.

Aryna Sabalenka in the 2020 tennis season so far
It has been an incredible season for the World No. 11 Sabalenka this year. Despite not starting well at the Australian Open 2020, she delivered some fine and commendable performances in the year.
Sabalenka won the Qatar Open 2020, defeating Petra Kvitova in the finals. However, she could not continue the momentum and lost in the pre-quarters of the following Top Seed Open against 16-year-old Coco Gauff.
Sabalenka’s performance at the Grand Slams showed no improvement. She lost to Victoria Azarenka in the second round of the US Open 2020. Then came the French Open 2020, where despite playing well in two matches, she got eliminated in the third round.
The Ostrava Open 2020 proved to be Sabalenka’s dream tournament. She got her revenge on Azarenka as she defeated her in the finals to win the singles’ titles. She did not stop here and then went on to win the doubles with Elise Mertens.
Aryna Sabalenka will now be eyeing the Linz Open 2020 title. Fans will hope that their tigress will roar and end the 2020 season on a high.
