“Raw and Foggy in Reality”– Maria Sharapova Promotes Nike’s Spring Campaign

It was quite a heartbreaking moment for fans when Maria Sharapova decided to retire at the Australian Open 2020. The former American player was just 32 at that moment and fans didn’t expect her to make the move this quickly. Although she has retired from the sport, she still has an association with sporting brands like Nike.

Recently, Maria Sharapova took up the task of promoting Nike’s spring campaign. As a part of this, she wore a complete black Nike outfit along with black trousers. In addition to this, she also wore Nike’s black shoes to compliment her overall look. The 5-time Grand Slam champion was looking beautiful and quite stylish in her outfit during the photoshoot in New York City.

“Nike’s Spring Campaign captured on a winter’s day in NYC. Strong and hopeful in emotion but raw and foggy in reality. Sounds all too familiar, doesn’t it?” tweeted Sharapova.

Sharapova has been associated with Nike for quite some time now. However, what was unique this time was that Sharapova was wearing the light Nike outfit on a really cold day in New York. She even described the campaign as something which is strong and hopeful in emotion but raw and foggy in reality.

Will Maria Sharapova return to tennis?

Although there are speculations about the return of Sharapova to tennis, the situation seems highly unlikely. Over the past few years, Sharapova has established herself as a successful entrepreneur and is doing pretty well as the owner of ‘Sugarpova’.

Sharapova cited her back problem as one of the chief reasons for bidding goodbye to tennis at such a young age. She certainly believes that she won’t be able to return back in such a scenario. However, her fans still visit her candy shops because of the love and affection that they have for her.

Sharapova still has associations with quite a few sporting brands which makes fans believe that she can make a comeback to the tennis court. Even though she hasn’t given any hints, fans are hopeful that such a thing might take place anytime soon.
