An honor to have Rafael Nadal as ambassador, says President of Food Bank
The Rafa Nadal Foundation, set up by Nadal, is renowned for providing the best health, sports, and educational facilities to the students who can’t avail or afford these facilities. The foundation celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and this association marks the anniversary in a rather fitting manner.
“The Mallorca Food Bank has been carrying out magnificent work for years, more necessary than ever,” said Maria Francisca Perelló, Director of the Rafa Nadal Foundation.
The Foundation also aims at giving a healthy and regular diet to young children. The ultimate aim of the Foundation is to enhance the human resource development of the region. This is what attracted the Food Bank to contact Rafael Nadal. They seem quite impressed with the objectives and implementation of the ongoing projects of the Foundation.
“It is an honor for the Mallorca Food Bank Foundation that Rafa Nadal has agreed to be our honorary ambassador. We highly value her immense human quality, increased in these times that we have to live,” said Raimundo de Montis, President of the Food Bank.
