Over the years, the NBA has grown into a worldwide popular league. With popularity comes a huge chunk of profit for the league and athletes are getting paid for their hard work.

Speaking of making humongous salaries, there are a few players that are a notch above the rest. NBA superstars like LeBron James and Steph Curry have massive contracts. But which players are making the most of the lot? Well, let’s take a look at the highest paid players in the NBA in 2021.

Bleacher report recently tweeted about the highest paid players in the league for the year 2021. The list included the entire earnings of players from both their contracts and endorsements. So here are your top 4 highest paid players in the league.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James once again leads the pack as he is making a league high $95.2 million this year. After LeBron, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant hold the second and third spot on the list.

However, there is a gap between their earnings and that of LeBron. Steph is making nearly $75 million, followed by Durant’s $65.2 million per year. At the fourth and last spot on the list is Wizards star Russell Westbrook, who is all set to make $58.1 million this year.

LeBron James recently turned 36-years-old almost a month ago, but the King is yet to show any signs of decline. Neither in his game nor in his immense popularity among the NBA fans. But the day LeBron retires is not that far away.

Once LBJ is gone from the league, the spot for the league’s next face will open up. As of now, either Giannis Antetokounmpo or Luka Doncic are making compelling cases to become the next big thing for the NBA.
