Lewis Hamilton Teased in F1 Drive to Survive Season 3 as Series Nears Completion




The much anticipated third season of the F1 series Drive to Survive is close to being watched at home by fans of the series. In the tweet that shows the seven-time world champion doing his part for the series, the producer Paul Martin says the series is almost finished.

Fans of the high octane series are excited to see that Hamilton in the tweet and can’t wait to see his play a bigger role in this season, compared to previous ones.

The first two seasons saw the documentary team cover the events of the 2018 and 2019 seasons. The breakout stars were Daniel Ricciardo and the team principal of Haas, Guenther Steiner, for their personality around the F1 paddock.

A thriller of a series

Since the airing of the documentary on Netflix, the fan base of F1 grew even bigger. The then-boss of F1, Chase Carey, had acknowledged the impact that the Netflix documentary had on the sport.

The third series sees the events that unfolded in the hectic 2020 season. The notable events that the documentary might cover how teams helped to make ventilators during the pandemic. The team will also cover Lewis Hamilton’s seventh title championship and equaling the record of Michael Schumacher, Fans would be excited to see the Brit as he didn’t have a lot of screen time in previous seasons and wanting to know what he is like away from the track

The series might also cover the 70th Grand Prix at Silverstone, which Max Verstappen took home in victory for Red Bull. Ferrari’s 1000 GP would supposedly also be included in the Formula One documentary.

Not too long to wait

The third season of Drive to Survive will release somewhere at the end of  February and the beginning of March just when the 2021 season is about to start on the 28th of March, fans would be excited to see the F1 action on their Netflix as well around the track, as the cars zip around once again.
