The Russian beaut possesses several properties. However, her house in Los Angeles is her favorite place to live. “I’ve traveled all over the world and enjoyed lots of incredible spaces. But my home is my absolute favorite. I think that’s the way it should be,” she said in an interview.
The house has a unique design with a combination of rough-hewn antiques from Asia, Africa, and Europe, all set against a strategic array of refined mid-century classics. The fountain and pine tree at the entrance of the house is inspired by Japanese culture.
According to reports, it almost took three years to design and build the house. Moreover, Sharapova was involved in every detail in designing the house.
“I was obsessed with the process of making this home. I’d jump off a plane from a tournament and go straight to the worksite or to the architect’s office or to a kitchen manufacturer. This was my project, and I wasn’t going to delegate any part of it,” Sharapova said.
The beautiful three-story Sharapova’s house has beautiful sea views from Palos Verdes to Malibu from her sun-kissed bedroom and bathroom.
Moreover, the astonishing property also includes a huge swimming pool and outdoor entertaining area, as well as a basement lounge with a bowling alley. It is certainly one of the best places to be confined during the global crisis.
