“Incredible & One For the Ages”: LeBron James Drops in Another Teaser for Graduation of 2020 Class

A few weeks back Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made an exciting announcement. He revealed that his family foundation XQ Institute and the Entertainment Industry Foundation will be putting together an All-Star event. The virtual ceremony will celebrate the graduation of the high school class of 2020.

The one-hour special, “Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020,” will air simultaneously on NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox on May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT. It will also air on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Complex Networks, PeopleTV, and other digital platforms.

With appearances from the likes of Pharrell Williams, Malala Yousafzai, the Jonas Brothers, Bad Bunny, Yara Shahidi, Ben Platt, Lena Waithe apart from James himself, the ceremony promises to be an exciting one.

“I wanted to help create a show that looked and felt very different from traditional specials. Something that spoke to kids in a different way. These kids worked so hard to graduate and what is happening to them is truly unfair,” James said in a statement to The Associated Press towards the end of last month.

“I hope we can give them and their families something cool that makes their accomplishment feel special.”

On Friday, James promised it will be an incredible event for the young class of 2020 via Twitter.

“Senior Class of 2020 I just want y’all to know that the graduation show we’re putting together for you is going to be incredible and one for the ages!! Love each and every one of you!! The FUTURE you are,” he tweeted.

Barack Obama will be a part of the LeBron James’ initiative for high school graduates

To add to the excitement of the ceremony, former US President Barack Obama will speak during the one-hour event. James made the exciting announcement on Tuesday. “You all worked so hard the past four years and deserve the best commencement we can bring to you and your family,” he tweeted.

A lot of superstars will be a part of the event. The high school graduates would find it as incredible as James promised it would be.
