‘I’m Getting Old and Weird’: Giannis Antetokounmpo Delivers a Goofy and Hilarious Speech

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a fearsome athlete when he is on the basketball court. He has great aggression in his game and the mentality to win games. However, off the court, the Greek Freak is a completely different person.

He is always seen goofing around with his teammates, or in some cases all by himself. For example, Bleacher Report recently tweeted a video of Giannis Antetokounmpo, where he hilariously reflected on life. Giannis said:

I’m getting old and weird, it’s crazy. This is my first time in Tampa. I’ve never been here before. Unfortunately, we cannot leave the hotel, I don’t have the chance to experience Tampa. Yeah, I’m getting old and weird. I’m a loner look at me, there’s nobody around me. Nobody likes me, man. It is what it is. Sometimes in life people are not going to be around you to motivate you. They’re not going to be around you to push you, to celebrate you, to applaud you. You gotta do it on your own, that’s what I’m doing right now [laughs].”

Can Giannis Antetokounmpo end the championship drought for the Bucks?

Over the last few seasons, Giannis and the Bucks have emerged as one of the best teams in the league. However, they have failed to carry that success in the postseason. Come playoff time, the Bucks have collapsed time and time again.

Even in the last season, they were sent home in the second round against the Heat. As a result, many expected the Greek Freak to explore other options in the 2020 offseason. But Giannis decided to stay with the Bucks and try to deliver a championship to the city of Milwaukee.
