Where will Eugenie Bouchard play next?

Bouchard will go to Mexico again in early March to play the WTA event in Guadalajara. The WTA Guadalajara event will move into its second edition and will feature the likes of Sloane Stephens, Nadia Podoroska, and others. The Canadian was scheduled to play last year, but the tournament was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“I was supposed to play last year, but unfortunately, it got canceled. So I’m very happy for the tournament that they’re able to host the event. I’m looking forward to seeing all you guys out there, the Mexican people. I can’t wait to have some Mexican food and [speaking Spanish].”

Having ranked past 140 in the WTA rankings, Bouchard didn’t get a direct entry into the main draw of Aussie Open 2021, and she fell in the second round of the qualifiers for the second straight year.
