‘A Massive Ambassador for F1’ – Domenicali Lauds ‘Incredible’ Lewis Hamilton




No one can deny that Lewis Hamilton is a role model off and on the track as well, even the new executive chairperson of F1, Stefano Domenicali, as acknowledging the world champion.

The new boss has praised Hamilton for standing up for diversity in the sport and being an example to the other drivers on the grid. He even helped the World of F1 to take a stand and hence they adopted the WeRaceAsOne slogan for the 2020 season.

Hamilton being praised

In an interview, Domenicali said, “Lewis is an incredible driver, an incredible man, and an incredible athlete. Lewis is a massive ambassador for F1. He is also an ambassador for other values and issues that are really relevant.”

“Lewis is really very important to F1 because he is embracing other values and bringing them into the discussion, and putting his face to issues out of the normal sport.”

The new Knight not only fights against racism but also for human rights, global warming, and animal rights after he himself went vegan.

Mercedes takes a stand

The Silver Arrows stood by their driver throughout 2020 and for the first time changed their car color to black to send out a message to the world that there is no room for racism. The team even promised to run it again for the upcoming season

If Hamilton is to stay at F1 he sure to bring awareness to other crises as well.
